I want it to open to the list of inboxes, and not enter any inbox automatically. I went into my mail app, and clicked the back button in the iCloud inbox, and went back to the list of accounts / inboxes, and the next time I open the App, it returns to the iCloud inbox. I don't even use my iCloud account for email. On your Mac, open System Preferences (from the Apple menu at the top-left of the screen), or use Terminal. Click Users & Groups; Click the Login Items tab; Here you will see the apps that will open automatically at login. If Mail is there, you can stop it from opening automatically, select and and click the minus icon to remove it.

Why Does Mail App Open Automatically On My Mac Os
I am getting a little frustrated. Everytime I start my computer Word, Excel and other programs open. I have tried the following which hasn't helped.Â
1. I went into system preferences into User/Groups, logins and deleted all items. Â 2. Hovered over the word in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, clicked options, unchecked open at login. (I have been closing down the application before loging off) Â Â Other than that I am not sure how to stop these from opening. Info: MacBook Air Comments are closed.
